Elton John's six albums in the four years from 1970 to 1973

This evening, I had one of my occasional urges to listen to Elton John. It started with "Bennie and the Jets" going through my head, so I listened to a few songs from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (1973), turned back to "Elton John" (1970), and dipped into the intervening albums, "Tumbleweed Connection" (1970), "Madman Across the Water" (1971), "Honky Château" (1972), and "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player" (1973). I don't listen to Elton John much, and today I only listened to about a dozen songs in all, but those six albums in four years make for quite a run, each with multiple hits and many other good songs.
