In April, when the demonstrations in the capital began, she packed a backpack and left her university. During the long night on a half-full train, she slept fitfully. On arriving, she went to the square and was assigned to a tent. On the first Saturday in June, exhausted and longing for a bath, she went to the suburbs to her parents' house. Having thought she was at university, they were surprised to see her. When she told him where she had been, her father, a general, told her she should not go back to the square the next morning. She said she wanted to rest and would go back on Monday. (AndrewShields, #111Words, 6 April 2025)
